Old Pecos Cabin

We came upon this place while camping in the Pecos mountains. The light was perfect dancing through the missing boards of the roof. I rarely represent things in realistic colors, and I never liked the way that wood becomes gray as it is weathered, so I decided to pop lavenders into those areas. It makes for a more vibrant and colorful piece.
